Since joining the firm’s Washington, DC office in 1975, Jeff has negotiated over 6 million square feet of real estate transactions on behalf of corporations, trade associations, not-for-profit organizations, and law firms throughout the United States. He specializes in transactions relating to the acquisition, development and leasing of commercial real estate and has been involved in some of the Washington DC metropolitan area’s most prestigious projects and complex assignments.
For more than 30 years, Jeff has earned the reputation of being an award-winning negotiator on behalf of his clients. In 2007, Jeff assisted the Academy for Educational Development, Inc. with a 337,000-square-foot lease restructure, expansion and renewal. This transaction was recognized by The Greater Washington Commercial Association of Realtors (GWCAR) as the “Transaction of the Year.
Jeff has now received GWCAR’s prestigious “Transaction of the Year” award three times and continues to top the association’s annual list of top brokers in the Washington, DC area. In 1987, Jeff received the “Transaction of the Year” award for assisting Hogan & Hartson, LLP with a 250,000-square-foot headquarters relocation and again received this highest honor in 1997 for his creative lease restructure of 117,000 square feet for the New York based law firm Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson, LLP.
Jeff received his Bachelors degree in economics, Cum Laude, from Boston University.
