As Managing Director of Orlando, Jim’s commercial real estate career spans over 25 years and includes office and industrial leasing and corporate tenant representation.  Jim’s distinguished client list includes banking, defense contractors, legal, life insurance, manufacturing and software firms.

While at Jones Lang LaSalle, Jim was directly responsible for leasing over 3.2 million SF of properties for institutional and corporate property owners including Hartford Insurance, Florida Office Property Company, Texas Teachers Retirement System and Lend Lease.  Jim’s acute understanding of landlord motivations and leverage points provides his corporate clients with a clear advantage at the negotiation table.

Additionally, Jim spearheaded the $4 million renovation of Eola Park Centre in 2000, which converted a 1969 Class C building into a competitive Class A office project and was awarded a Golden Brick Award by the Downtown Orlando Partnership, as well as The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) award by BOMA in 2001.

Activities & Achievements

Jim has been active on Board of Directors of the Downtown Orlando Partnership, for whom he has chaired and organized the sponsorship, funding, and marketing of several major community entertainment events including the Uptown Art Expo, Orlando Downtown Art & Living Expo, Light-Up Orlando, Festival Fridays and the Golden Brick Awards.  Jim has been recognized multiple times by the CoStar Group as an Orlando Power Broker.  Additionally, Jim was named by the Central Florida Commercial Real Estate Society in 1996, 1997, 2000, 2001 as one of Orlando’s Top Office Top Producers.  He earned the elite distinction of the Jones Lang LaSalle Club 2001 for overall production.


Jim attended Macomb Community College and is a Licensed Real Estate Broker with the State of Florida.
