John Bertram has spent 29 years in commercial real estate primarily specializing in representing tenants and commercial building sales.
John’s tenant representation services include lease and operating expense analysis, relocation, renewal, expansion, joint venture and build-to-suit analysis. He represents local, national and multi-national companies in multiple states and countries from a variety of industries with an emphasis on financial services. He works closely with his clients to find the most efficient and cost-effective occupancy solutions for his clients.
One of John’s larger transactions was the corporate relocation of Investors Business Daily who needed to secure a 300,000-square-foot office/warehouse facility in West Los Angeles with a parking ratio of 5 cars per thousand square feet of occupancy, 1,200 amp power and 24’ clear height for the warehouse area. After a two-year search, John was able to secure one of the very few facilities available in West Los Angeles and negotiate 20 years of fixed options, plus a right to purchase the facility.
