Since joining Savills Studley in 2010 John has completed over 500,000 square feet of corporate leasing transactions. Previously, he worked at a boutique, Manhattan-based consulting firm for eight years advising international law firms on their mergers, acquisitions, and joint venture strategies. John’s focus was on the strategic planning portion of the transaction including financial analysis, deal oversight, and partner relations which he still draws upon to help deliver creative real estate solutions to his clients.
Throughout his career at Savills Studley John has successfully completed transactions for numerous notable clients including: J.C. Flowers & Co, Clinton Global Initiative, KLS Advisors, Eltman Eltman & Cooper, OpenTable and Turner Broadcasting Systems.
As an avid advocate for the importance of athletics, John volunteers with Achilles International, a nonprofit dedicated to providing support, access, and training for athletes with disabilities (including children and war veterans). He personally runs the New York City Marathon each year as disabled athlete’s guide.
John graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor of Arts from The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. While an undergraduate, he also attended KU Leuven in Belgium, where he worked on the Budgetary Committee of the European Parliament in Brussels.
He has earned a Master of Science in real estate from New York University, with a concentration in development and investment.
