Jon joined Savills Studley in 2005 and has proven himself an invaluable asset to the firm. With his thorough understanding of market trends and ownership valuations, as well as of his clients’ financial and operational objectives, Jon is skilled in the development and execution of customized, full-service commercial real estate counsel – from strategic planning and portfolio management, to lease negotiation and space planning.
Jon has successfully negotiated office transactions for a wide array of public, private, non-for-profit and Fortune 500 clients across the country. His vast experience ranges from corporate headquarters relocations to national portfolio management, building sales and build-to-suit projects.
Jon’s recent clients include Lawson Products, Dover Corp. and Horizon Pharma, for which he negotiated suburban headquarters relocation transactions, and the Big Ten Conference, for which he is overseeing a build-to-suit project in Suburban Chicago. He also serves as the national portfolio manager for Sterigenics International, Middough, Inc., and Van Ru Credit Corporation.
Prior to joining the firm, Jon spent two years at Newmark Knight Frank, working with such clients as Nufarm Americas and Gallagher Benefit Administrators.
Activities & Achievements
Jon served as the chair of Savills Studley’s 2012 Community Involvement Committee, which organizes the firm’s annual Landlord Challenge fundraising event. He helped raise over $120,000 for the charity in 2012. He is also a member of Back on My Feet and the Young Office Broker Association and a past participant in the Youth Maccabi Games.
Jon graduated from Indiana University in Bloomington with a Bachelor of Arts in history and religious studies with minors in business administration and Middle Eastern languages and cultures.
