Since joining Savills in 2005 Jon has proven himself an invaluable asset to the firm and his clients. Using his thorough understanding of commercial real estate trends and clients’ financial and operational objectives, Jon provides an array of occupier advisory services including strategic planning, portfolio management, lease negotiation, space planning and dispositions. His project experience ranges from corporate headquarters relocations and International portfolio management, to building sales, purchases and build-to-suit projects.

Jon has successfully negotiated transactions for a wide range of public, private, nonprofit, private-equity and Fortune 500 clients in markets across the country. He has extensive experience advising companies in the medical device and service industries. His impressive client roster includes Stericycle, Inc., Dover Corporation, Lawson Products, Level Ex, Association of Legal Administrators (ALA), Commercial Law League of America (CLLA), Emergency Nurses Association (ENA), Intelligent Medical Objects (IMO), International Fellowship of Christians and Jews (IFCJ), numerous private equity firms owned by GTCR and Warburg Pincus, Outfest, The Point Foundation and Sterigenics/Nelson Labs/Sotera.

Jon also represented The Big Ten Conference, for which he oversaw a 50,000 SF build-to-suit project in Suburban Chicago and assisted in the disposition of their former headquarters. Jon manages the global portfolio for Sterigenics International. Regionally, he oversees the real estate portfolios for Middough, Inc. and Seasons Hospice and Palliative Care. Prior to joining Savills, Jon spent two years at Newmark Knight Frank, working with such clients as Nufarm Americas and Gallagher Benefit Administrators.

Awards, Achievements and Activities

Jon served as the chair of Savills 2012 Community Involvement Committee, which organizes the firm’s annual Landlord Challenge fundraising event. He helped raise over $120,000 for the charity in 2012. He is currently a member of the advisory board of Back on My Feet, which works to combat homelessness. He was recently named as one of the 25 “Tomorrow’s Leaders” by Real Estate Forum Magazine, an award given annually to the top rising stars in commercial real estate.

In his spare time, Jon is an avid runner and swimmer; having run several marathons as well as fundraising races to benefit the American Institute of Cancer Research and Back on my Feet. Jon is also actively involved in the Indiana University Alumni Board.
