Kari Downing joined Savills in 2017, assisting a broad range of clients in the government, medical, office, industrial, land and retail sectors with their real estate needs for the Atlanta office.

Kari brings nearly two decades of experience with Atlanta-area real estate firms. Most recently, she was Real Estate Manager for the Northside Hospoital portfolio for Realty Trust Group. Previously, she was Assistant Vice President of Agency Leasing with Transwestern’s Atlanta office, where she was responsible for marketing and leasing more than 2 million square feet of the firm’s third-party portfolio located throughout metro Atlanta. Her clients included LNR, The Ardent Companies, Denholtz Associates, Brookwood Financial, CW Capital and the DuRhone Group. Additionally, Kari also played a major role in Transwestern’s new business development, leveraging her successful career and relationships to win new leasing assignments.

Throughout her career, Kari has developed a number of effective property marketing campaigns that consistently improved occupancy and maximized asset value for her owner clients. Before joining Transwestern, Kari gained extensive experience in commercial leasing with Jackson Oats Shaw, Colonnade Properties, and Denholtz Associates.

Kari has been named to the Million Dollar Clubs of the Georgia Chapter of NAIOP and the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors. She is a founding member of the NAIOP Future Leaders program.
