As Senior Transactional Consultant, Kelly’s primary responsibility is to assess all workspace and facility requirements (occupier space demands) and to uncover, explore and analyze the costs, timing and feasibility of all potential, existing and to-be-built occupancy solutions. Kelly’s unmatched experience in facility design and construction yields substantial value to clients throughout the scope of an assignment.
Active in the real estate and construction industry since 1980, Kelly has experience as project architect, construction manager, asset manager, contractor and developer. He has designed, built and managed a broad range of product types including corporate headquarters, telecommunications and broadcasting facilities, data centers and research and development facilities. Mr. Givens has been directly involved in the design and procurement of more than $3 Billion of construction and development services over the past five years. His active involvement in controlling the design process and his direct relations with subcontractors and material fabricators materially reduces the capital cost required to deliver a project. His approach of designing projects to a specified unit cost profile with pre established cost indexes, subsequently tied to contract performance, has enabled Kelly to forecast extremely accurate capital cost expenditures well in advance of the project delivery date.
Kelly has been the lead professional and cost engineer on some of the largest commercial Real Estate Transactions in the country and is arguably one of the most experienced real estate professional in the country when it comes to the delivery of new construction.
Having held many positions and professional credentials in architecture, Asset Management, and construction, Kelly offers a unique perspective on managing the development and facilities planning process for his clients.
Kelly received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. His credentials include registration and license as an Architect, AIA, General Building Contractor and Certified Property Manager (CPM).
