Since joining Savills Studley in 2006, Marcus has completed over 3.1 million square feet of transactions. He supports Savills Studley’s consultative approach by providing detailed market intelligence that allows his clients to optimize their real estate holdings. He is well versed in all real estate trends, analyzing market and building dynamics along with other unique complexities present in office and industrial transactions.
Marcus brings to Savills Studley over six years of real estate experience as a consultant at a syndication firm where he was responsible for due diligence, client management, procuring and underwriting financing opportunities, and creating income increasing strategies.
With this background, Marcus is instrumental in the delivery of strategic, transactional and financial consulting services including financial modeling/structuring, strategic planning and demographic analysis, enabling him to identify and implement lease structures that effectively leverage tenants’ positions.
Activities & Achievements
Marcus is a member of the Los Angeles Junior Chamber of Commerce, Urban Land Institute and is involved in the Hispanic Heritage Foundation. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Upward Gravity, a non-profit organization focused on creating value in the education system (particularly in underserved areas) while providing value for the professional world in the context of sustainable environments and economies.
Marcus received a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy from Cornell University and is an active member of the alumni association.
