Marcus Arredondo

Professional Expertise

Marcus Arredondo brings to Savills 15 years of experience, having completed over 200 transactions totaling over 6.5 million square feet of transactions. In his role, Marcus provides his corporate clients global strategic guidance and couples their specific occupancy directives with accounting level drivers. Through his work on national and international accounts, he has successfully overseen all aspects of real estate including lease administration, lease audit, portfolio rationalization, transaction management, dispositions, lease restructures, sale leasebacks and provided the framework to identify cost savings solutions and more effective space utilization.

Marcus is exceptional at understanding key market intelligence, as well as his clients’ motivations and long-term objectives. In order to accommodate these factors, Marcus and his team incorporate particulars to each (construction costs, permitting times, lead times, etc.). In addition, he and his team effectively mitigate unforeseen pitfalls, and also maximize leverage and flexibility while reducing client exposure in successfully securing each respective transaction.

Prior to joining Savills, he served as an investment advisor at a real estate syndication investment firm where he was responsible for advising clients while leading due diligence, procurement, and underwriting opportunities to yield increased income producing strategies.

Awards, Achievements and Activities

In his free time, Marcus is a member of the Los Angeles Junior Chamber of Commerce, Urban Land Institute and is involved in the Hispanic Heritage Foundation. He also serves on the board of directors for Upward Gravity, a nonprofit organization focused on creating value in the education system (particularly in underserved areas) while providing value for the professional world in the context of sustainable environments and economies.
