Matt has represented tenants totaling over 5 million square feet in the Bay Area, including projects on behalf of UC Berkeley, Shutterfly, Synarc, JMP Group, Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP and Ubisoft. Matt’s experience outside the Bay Area includes tenant representation assignments across the United States and internationally in London, Hong Kong, Shanghai, and Paris.
Matt joined the Savills Studley Southern California operations team in 1995, and focused on managing key corporate accounts throughout the country. He then supported the firm’s expansion in Orange County, successfully increasing the firm’s market share, and was involved in some of the county’s largest and most complex projects including Emulex Corporation’s 250,000 square-foot build-to-suit headquarters and URS Corporation’s 75,000 square-foot consolidation of two acquired entities.
Matt’s broad range of transaction experience and skills, attention to detail and commitment to excellence are integral to his philosophy of client service. Matt spent six years with the Staubach Co. before joining the firm in April of 2005.
Matt has been recognized as a Savills Studley “top producer” in the San Francisco Bay Area and nationally. Additionally, CoStar Group, the leading provider of commercial real estate information, named him to its list of national “Power Brokers,” acknowledging him as one of the preeminent brokers in the San Francisco office market. Matt has been named a CoStar “Power Broker” multiple times. While at Staubach, he received the firm’s “top achiever” award for four consecutive years. Matt is involved with the March of Dimes and The Olympic Club Triathalon Team.
Matt graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) with a degree in economics.
