Michael Colacino was named president of Studley (now Savills Studley) in 2002. He has served as a consultant, strategic planner and provider of specialized brokerage services.
In 2004, Michael worked on the 520,000-square-foot lease that relocated Wall Street law firm Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft to One World Financial Center, the largest transaction in proximity of the World Trade Center site since 9/11. Other major law firm assignments on which he has worked include Patterson, Belknap, Webb & Tyler, Willkie Farr & Gallagher, Kaye, Scholer, Fierman, Hays & Handler, Jones Day, Pillsbury Winthrop and Covington & Burling LLP all of which were in excess of 150,000 square feet.
His corporate clients have included Time Warner, for which he served as broker on its acquisition and development of the Columbus Circle site.
Michael has participated in a number of media industry assignments for clients that include NBC, Warner Brothers, CNN and New York 1 News. These projects have included development feasibility analysis, operations reviews and brokerage. Michael has also worked on headquarters relocation projects for Westvaco Corporation (a Fortune 500 manufacturing company) and 24/7 Media (a publicly traded internet firm).
