Michael joined Savills Studley in 2012 as a Project Manager for the Credit Agricole modernization project and works directly with Colm Ralph to oversee the execution of the construction and fit-out of the bank's modernization program, as well as its infrastructure upgrades.
Michael has extensive experience navigating the approvals processes at numerous New York City agencies, such as the Department of Buildings (DOB), New York City Fire Department (FDNY), Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), Department of Finance (DOF) and New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC). His knowledge of project management, building code and expediting has proven an invaluable asset to clients seeking to meet construction schedules and tenant occupancy milestones.
Prior to joining the Savills Studley, Michael spent five years at Milrose Consultants, where he gained expertise in project management, building code, New York City agency approvals, and expediting. At Milrose, Michael worked as Project Executive on the Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer tenant space at 601 Lexington Avenue, overseeing all the pre-design code reviews, pre-filing documentation, project filing, and permitting so that the client could successfully meet its milestones for occupancy.
In addition, Michael served as the exclusive Project Executive for the Madison Square Garden Transformation Project while at Milrose, acting as a direct liaison between the design teams, construction managers, and various New York City agencies, and delivering all construction permits and Certificates of Occupancy in advance of their deadlines. Michael played an instrumental role in the large-scale renovation project, leading the project management team to accomplish all necessary milestones prior to the arena’s 2012 occupancy.
Michael also managed the Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley, AIG, and Citi accounts at Milrose Consultants for work performed at each client's various site locations.
