Mike joined Savills Studley in 2007 and was primarily responsible for generating new business for the firm. Showing an unrelenting enthusiasm and comprehensive understanding of tenant’s space needs, Mike’s role quickly expanded to include developing and executing creative real estate solutions on behalf of his clients. Mike, and his team, work tirelessly to achieve each client’s immediate and long-term goals by evaluating multiple real estate solutions and their benefits, costs and organizational implications. He has worked with numerous top-tier companies across multiple industries, including Warby Parker, Deluxe Entertainment Services Group, AXA Liabilities-Managers, Scopia Capital, Madison International Realty, Gameloft and LeadDog Marketing.
Prior to joining the firm, Mike gained valuable work experience at Stratix Asset Management and JNK Securities. While at Stratix, an equity long/short hedge fund that focuses on the technology and energy sectors, Mike developed a thorough understanding of the daily operations and needs of hedge funds, as well as the workings of the financial world as a whole. Moreover, Mike honed his ability to think and react both quickly and efficiently as a direct result of his experience on the intense floor of the New York Stock Exchange during his time at JNK Securities.
Mike was honored in the Commercial Observer’s “30 Under 30” in 2012. In 2011, he was recognized as one of the “20 to Watch in 2012” by the Commercial Observer, and was named one of the top 10 rising real estate stars under age 30 by Crain’s New York Business. In 2010, Mike was awarded Savills Studley’s National “Rookie of the Year.”
Mike is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) and volunteers with New York Cares.
Mike graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a minor in Art History from Vanderbilt University in Tennessee.
