Michael takes an active role in the community. He is involved in the Alzheimer’s Association; the Museum of Contemporary Art’s Contemporaries Group, which raises contributions for the Los Angeles arts and cultural center; and the Los Angeles World Affairs Council.
Michael received his bachelor's degree in communications from the University of Denver and a Masters of Fine Art from the American Film Institute.
