With over 30 years of commercial real estate experience, Michael White is a proven leader in the industry. He has negotiated and completed over 27M square feet of commercial lease transactions and build-to-suits with a total aggregate value exceeding $2.1B. In addition, Michael has coordinated and closed sales of commercial office buildings, medical buildings and land for such uses, with sales value in excess of $600M.
As a Senior Managing Director at Savills Studley’s Phoenix Office, Michael is focused on providing a full suite of tenant representation services on a regional, national and international level, coupling his expertise with the firm’s expansive global platform and reputation for tenacious client advocacy.
Through his career, Michael has strategically and analytically managed successful real estate solutions for top tier organizations around the world. Projects include headquarters assignments for First Solar, Allied Waste Industries, PF Chang’s, Republic Services, ACSS (an L-3 Communications company) and ING Direct Bank; regional operation centers for CVS/Sav-On Drugs and MFS and other notable office leases for CareerBuilder, GlaxoSmithKline, Department of Public Safety, PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and General Mills. In addition, Michael is responsible for First Solar’s entire global real estate portfolio.
Prior to joining Savills Studley, Michael garnered expertise in the Phoenix office market through his work as Senior Director for Cushman & Wakefield, Senior Vice President for Grubb & Ellis | BRE Commercial, LLC, Senior Managing Director for Insignia/ESG and Senior Director for Koll Management Services, Inc.
Activities & Achievements
Since he began his career, Michael has consistently maintained top-10 status at each of his respective firms and was named top producer multiple times, most recently in 2013 at Cushman & Wakefield.
In addition, Michael received accolades from national publications Site Selection Magazine, Business Facilities Magazine, Commercial Property Executive and most recently was recognized for the Industrial Brokerage Sale of the Year for Arizona Commercial Rea Estate Magazine’s 2014 Red Awards.
An involved member of his community, Michael is an active volunteer for Andre House and a member of the Men’s Art Council. He has spent many seasons as a coach and manager of Little League teams and former board member for Arcadia Little League. Previously, Michael served on the Board of Directors for Thomas Aquinas College.
Michael earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with emphasis in both accounting and finance from the University of Arizona in Tucson.
