Michelle Turner is the Senior Vice President of Strategic Initiatives. As a strategic advisor for Savills, Michelle Turner delivers integrated, customized solutions that best align real estate portfolios and processes with her client’s goals and objectives. Michelle and her team of advisory experts provide a full range of integrated real estate services and deliver any type of portfolio assignment on a worldwide basis. Specifically, Michelle provides portfolio strategy, M&A advisory, occupancy analysis and forecasting, organizational and process streamlining, and business intelligence and analytics for both public and private sector clients. Her expertise has been with companies in professional services, industrial coatings, creative industries and higher education.

For over 10 years, Michelle has specialized in portfolio optimization and analysis of real estate processes to determine long-term portfolio strategies. She has also served a variety of global, national, and regional clients in the real estate industry by assisting with operational effectiveness, business risk mitigation and portfolio strategy. Recent examples include leading the implementations of global real estate processes and account management for portfolios spanning over 22 million square feet, as well as the development of portfolio optimization strategies for a large global professional services firm with a portfolio of more than 5 million square feet.

Michelle joined Savills in 2015 after the firm acquired her previous employer, Vertical Integration, from her current team leader Ann Duncan. Prior, Michelle served as director of real estate strategy at WeinPlus and spent five years working with institutional real estate clients at PricewaterhouseCoopers as a senior associate on the real estate advisory team.

Awards, Achievements and Activities

In her free time, Michelle likes to stay active within her community. Michelle is a member of the UF Real Estate Advisory Board and currently volunteers at numerous organizations such as the JDRF diabetes research fund, FSH Society for a muscular dystrophy cure, American Cancer Society, and Gators Giving Back charity. Previously, Michelle served on the executive committee for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
