Mike Catalano has been representing tenants throughout the United States for over 25 years. Mike joined Savills Studley in 1993 with six previous years of experience at Grubb & Ellis Commercial Real Estate Services. In addition to running Savills Studley’s West Los Angeles office, Mike has built a reputation as one of the leading tenant representatives in the Los Angeles area. Mike is frequently quoted in the Los Angeles Times, Los Angeles Business Journal, and Commercial Property News. His performance continuously yields results in innovative and sound transactions that are economically and functionally beneficial to his clients.
The scope of Mike’s services ranges from facility requirement evaluation and strategic planning, to the implementation of real estate documentation. Relocation, renewal, lease renegotiation, subleasing, expansion, and facility downsizing are also among his areas of expertise. Mike conducts and coordinates analyses of facility options that may include leases, sales, joint ventures and build-to-suit alternatives. Through his personal evaluation of requirements, alternatives, and solutions, he is able to maintain the level of service required to exceed the expectations of his clients.
Mike served as the Chairman of the Board of Break the Cycle for seven years, an organization that engages, educates and empowers young people to build lives and communities free from domestic and dating violence. Prior to leading the Board, Mike educated high school students through Domestic Violence 101, a class dedicated to exposing information on warning signs and misconceptions about violence in youth relationships. As an organization and as a leader in the community, Break the Cycle works to shape a world in which everyone is safe from relationship violence. Such a world is possible and is our duty to nurture its growth.
Mike received his Bachelor of Science degree in psychology with an emphasis in business administration from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA).
