From project initiation to absolute completion, Michael Lawson provides full management services for tenants with multi-service lines and single-focused accounts. Since joining Savills in 2015, Mike has become a corporate managing director of the project management team. As a specialist in programming, design and engineering, Mike is able to administer all-encompassing building, facility and campus inspections that ensure standards and quality are met. Mike is also a dynamic and adaptable project manager, able to work in a wide range of industries from legal and healthcare to professional and financial services.

Over the course of Mike’s more than 30-year career, Mike has served multiple companies in a variety of markets. Most recently, Mike worked for CLW Real Estate Services Group as a director of operations and principal. His main responsibility was the management of all necessary professionals and specialties to ensure client standards were met. Prior to CLW, Mike was with Lincoln Property Company as a senior project manager for Bank of America, then known as Nations Bank, where he developed and managed the design and construction of 12 new retail bank sites and several multi-story building restacks.

Mike also worked for DTZ and Cassidy Turley (now Cushman & Wakefield). Mike began his career with St Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa where he developed and managed projects throughout the nine-building campus.

Among his list of reputable clients includes St. Joseph’s Hospital, Northern Trust, EMC Corporation, Robert Half, Holland & Knight, Arison Family Office, YoungArts, Moffitt Cancer Center, Lee Memorial Health System, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Shook Hardy Bacon, Squire Patton Boggs, Midas and Raymond James. Ultimately, Mike’s goal is to properly and thoroughly manage his clients’ properties and identify advantageous cost-savings opportunities.

Awards, Achievements and Activities

In his free time, Mike is on the board of directors of the Tampa Bay Rough Riders 1 st U.S. Volunteer Cavalry Regiment, a historical group promoting the legacy of Teddy Roosevelt.
