Mike Lawson is a Managing Director for Savills Studley’s Occupier Services and is responsible for expanding the project management business for both multi-service lines and focused single accounts.
With over 30 years of experience, Mike began his career with St Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa where he developed and managed projects throughout the nine-building campus. He then joined Lincoln Property Company as a Senior Project Manager for Bank of America, then known as Nations Bank, where he developed and managed the design and construction of twelve new out of the ground retail bank sites along with several multi-story building restacks. Mike later moved to CLW Real Estate Services Group as a Senior Project Manager and ultimately promoted to Director of Operations and Principal. As Director of Operations for CLW & Sustainable Consulting, his responsibilities included managing all of the necessary professionals/specialties to ensure client standards were met. Mike’s client list as included St. Joseph’s Hospital, Northern Trust, EMC Corporation, Robert Half, Holland & Knight, Arison Family Office, YoungArts, Moffitt Cancer Center, Lee Memorial Health System, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Shook Hardy Bacon, Squire Patton Boggs, Midas and Raymond James.
Through his vast amount of project management, commercial real estate and corporate knowledge expertise, Mike consistently provides cost-savings opportunities to each of his clients.
Mike is an active member of the Tampa Rough Riders, a charitable group honoring the legacy of President Theodore Roosevelt. Mike is also a member of the Photo League of Tampa within the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts who meets for the purpose of education, inspiration, camaraderie and photography.
Mike earned a Bachelor of Arts in design from Northern Kentucky University.
