Patrick McGrath is President for Savills West Region. In this role, he is responsible for the strategic direction and performance of the company’s business lines, including leasing, sales, project management, and consulting services in California, Colorado, Washington, Texas, Arizona, Nevada, Idaho, New Mexico, Utah, Oregon, and Wyoming. He also serves on the executive management board for the North American business.

Patrick’s career highlights include leading Savills largest post-merger integration of Studley Inc. (an acquisition completed in 2014) and winning a CoreNet global innovation award for the use of artificial intelligence in structuring and visualizing large data sets.

Patrick previously served as Chief Information Officer and head of client technologies overseeing a significant transformation of the Savills real estate services platform.

In this role he was recognized as Executive of the Year by ASD Awards for his work establishing Savills as the most innovative company of the year for the launch of a first of its kind iOS application called Stacker. Also among his responsibilities was the development of Knowledge Cubed, the firm’s customer facing global data visualization and analytics platform, which he launched in 2016.

Patrick joined Savills in the San Francisco office in 2002 as a market and financial analyst following his graduation from Emory University. He then moved to the Philadelphia office in 2003 as a tenant rep broker. After completing his MBA in Finance at the Wharton School of Business, Patrick joined the corporate headquarters team in New York, where he helped to execute some of the firm’s largest commercial real estate transactions prior to leading the post-merger integration of Studley on behalf of Savills.

Awards, Achievements and Activities

Patrick is an active member of the Los Angeles Wharton Alumni Leadership team and has been recognized for his volunteer work with Philadelphia Futures, Best Buddies of America, and the MDA Society. Patrick is also a former chair of the Emory Alumni Association.
