Peter is renowned for his unique ability to bridge the world of corporate finance and commercial real estate to add value for his clients. He leverages his strategic and financial expertise to structure and create transactions that complement tenants’ financial and business drivers. His approach ensures that companies’ real estate decisions are made within the framework of their operational and financial objectives.
Peter has created lease transaction structures that effectively arbitrage tenants’ financial objectives with those of landlords. In today’s market, landlords have become more complex and unique as they now have vastly different financial objectives and drivers. As a result, effective lease structuring has become increasingly valuable to tenants. Typically, Peter and his Corporate Services Group create 10 percent additional value for a tenant without compromising the landlord’s financial performance. Although this may appear to be counterintuitive, Peter has a proven track record for creating these opportunities that maximize lease value for both the landlord and tenant simultaneously due to the inherent differences in their respective financial perspectives.
Peter has been the lead professional and financial architect of many of the largest office commercial real estate transactions in the country, recently completing the 2 largest transactions in CA in the last 25 years.
Peter joined Savills Studley as an analyst and was promoted to assistant director just four years later in 1995. In 1997, he was promoted to managing director and in 2002, became the firm’s youngest executive managing director. In 2003, he assumed the helm of the firm’s Corporate Services Group, which Peter was instrumental in creating.
Peter’s accomplishments were recently acknowledged when he was named to Crain’s New York Business “40 under 40” list of top, young executives in NYC. Peter is an active member and fundraiser for various charities including the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Peter graduated from Columbia University's School of Engineering and Applied Science with a Bachelor of Science in applied physics and a concentration in finance.
