Randy Atkins

Professional Expertise

Randy Atkins has an extensive history of successfully representing the users of commercial real estate whether they prefer to lease or own, regardless of their industry category. Randy’s specialty however is in the representation of CRE users who wish to acquire, develop and/or add value to land or commercial buildings through re-development, entitlement, repurposing or repositioning.

Randy is a tested and proven advocate for his clients and, through the art of listening to and understanding their needs and objectives, has been successful in helping those clients marry their facilities plans to their business plans. Through a long process of learning the intricacies of the commercial real estate industry and his market, Randy continues to transfer that knowledge to the benefit of his clients and their respective business objectives.

For more than two decades prior to joining Savills in 1993, Randy was focused on the CRE development side of the industry and, as vice president in charge of leasing, sales and marketing for national and regional firms, helped put in place more than 5 million square feet of office and industrial building space in over a dozen business parks in the Washington D.C. Metro area. Prior to that time he held senior economic development positions in state and county governments and for eight years owned and operated a commercial real estate development, construction and consulting company.

He is currently treasurer of the Gov. Paul Hamilton Chapter, South Carolina Society, Sons of the American Revolution, and is active in other community and civic organizations including Rotary International in which he has served as club president and board member.
