Professional Expertise

As a Senior Managing Director of Savills Studley, Project Management, Rick is responsible for all areas of the practice within Orange County, California.

Prior to joining Savills Studley, Rick was a Principal with Cresa Orange County, another national tenant/user representation firm. During his 14-year tenure, he serviced the “ground-up” development and interior improvement needs of companies such as Cylance, Hyundai Motor America, Ventura Foods, Endologix, O’Melveny & Myers, Zodiac Aerospace, Intralase and Brady Corporation.

Prior to joining Cresa, Rick was Senior Vice President of CommonWealth Partners, LLC, a fully-integrated real estate investment and development company where he had a portfolio of approximately 7,000,000 SF of Class A office space located throughout the western states. Rick was responsible for, and led all construction and project management-related activities including managing the design and engineering activities associated with over 600,000 SF of new development, construction-related activities within owned and managed properties, and the development of a third-party consulting business.

Prior to joining CommonWealth Partners, LLC, Rick was an officer of Cushman Realty Corporation for 18 years. During this time his responsibilities included the management and oversight of the design and construction of several million square feet of Class A office space, including Landmark Square, Long Beach, CA, the Disney Channel Building, Burbank, CA and Berkeley Place at UC Irvine, Irvine, CA.

As Senior Vice President and National Director of Cushman Project Management, Rick successfully developed an eight-person consulting practice representing professional and corporate clients with the development of institutional Class A office headquarter buildings and interior office space in locations throughout North America and Mexico.

Rick began his career with Rockefeller Center Development Corporation where his primary responsibilities included a completion of base building construction and tenant improvements at 444 S. Flower St., Los Angeles, a 900,000 SF Class A office structure, and preconstruction activities associated with the 1,000,000 SF, multi-phase ANROC Plaza in Phoenix, Arizona.

Education

Rick graduated from the California Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Architecture.
