An experienced tenant advocate and representative of Fortune 500 companies, Roi Shleifer leads one of Savills prominent consulting teams out of the firm’s New York office in Midtown Manhattan. Focused on his client’s strategic space needs, Roi evaluates all current occupancy situations while identifying and analyzing solutions that adhere to his clients’ quantitative and qualitative objectives. With this all-encompassing data, Roi is able to develop and implement a wide range of strategic real estate solutions that align with his clients’ short- and long-term business objectives. Highly focused on financial accounting and engineering of commercial real estate transactions, Roi also provides lease administrations, transaction management and financial analyses to his client’s integrated accounts.

Since entering the industry, Roi has gained more than 18 years of market expertise from the West to the East Coast of the United States. Over the course of his career, Roi was involved in over 10-plus million square feet of transactions on behalf of multiple Fortune 500 clients. Specifically he has helped his clients capture cost-saving opportunities through realizing market-based conditions, reducing footprint, enhancing portfolio-wide space utilization and efficiencies and aggressively transacting occupancy deals.

Prior to joining Savills in 2011 as a member of the Downtown Los Angeles office, Roi was a vice president at CBRE. Roi started his career as a senior consultant at Ernst & Young where he worked with clients such as AIG, Disney, AXA Insurance, and others. Using his vast VBA (Excel) knowledge, Roi has managed to build a number of site selection tools, which he uses to help Savills clients make educated decisions regarding their real estate (i.e occupancy cost reduction calculator which quantifies occupancy cost-savings, a site selection interactive matrix providing qualitative and quantitative scenarios analysis, a cash/GAAP site selection model and more).

Awards, Achievements and Activities

Roi is an active volunteer for the Larger Than Life association, helping Israeli children fight cancer, as well as JCFamilies which supports Jersey City families. In 2008, Roi received a LEED® certification for new construction from the U.S Green Building Council. He has also been recognized as a CB Top 10 Broker in LA County.
