Joining Savills in 2011, Stephan Steiner possesses a broad expertise in commercial leasing. His extensive experience with a wide range of complex real estate transactions enables him to structure innovative solutions and obtain superior results on behalf of his clients. While he represents a broad range of for-profit organizations, Stephan prides himself on his ability to navigate the set of sophisticated deal structures that benefit nonprofits.
Prior to joining the Savills New York office, Stephan was an associate at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP where he focused on high-profile real estate transactions including the World Trade Center joint venture and the sale-leaseback of New York State’s three marquee horse racing venues: Aqueduct Racetrack, Saratoga Raceway and Belmont Park.
Awards, Achievements and Activities
Stephan was a three-time Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar at Columbia Law School where he cofounded the Columbia Real Estate Law Society. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and member of the University of Montana Alumni Association.
