Steven Bates joined Savills in 2007. He has two decades of experience representing commercial tenants with local, regional and international real estate needs. Prior to his career in real estate, Steven advised institutional investors on real estate investments and capital markets. His ability to “think like an owner” and work with senior level executives makes him a valued partner for clients with complex business needs.

Steven’s transaction experience include large headquarters office leases, build-to-suit office and industrial projects, dispositions of owned assets and numerous lease restructurings that produced significant cost savings. His clients have included companies and organizations in the following industries: financial technology, software, telecommunications, legal services, asset management, construction products, and B-to-B distribution. With each assignment, Steven ensures that the appropriate assets of Savills are utilized to achieve a successful result.

Awards, Achievements and Activities

Steven serves on boards and committees of various local organizations. He is a member of the Atlanta Commercial Board of REALTORS’ and has been honored as a ‘Top Ten Producer’. In 2017, a client’s headquarters project was a finalist for the ‘Transaction of the Year’.
