Since joining Savills Studley in 1986, Tom has focused on providing real estate services on behalf of major tenants in the Washington area and throughout the United States with a focus on law and professional service firms.
In 2008, Tom was selected "Broker of the Year" by the Greater Washington Commercial Association of REALTORS® (GWCAR) and is continuously ranked among the top producing brokers by volume in the Washington metropolitan area.
To date, his peers in GWCAR have honored him seven times for creating the "Transaction of the Year," including one for his role in the assemblage of three buildings on Pennsylvania Avenue to accommodate the 525,000-square-foot requirement for Wilmer Cutler & Pickering.
On top of serving his clients, Tom has been a manager of the firm's Washington, DC office since 1998. In 2008, he served as President of the Greater Washington Commercial Association of Realtors (GWCAR) and continues to be active in that organization. Tom is also Vice Chairman of the board and head of the strategic planning committee for Goodwill of Greater Washington. He is involved in fundraising for the Maret School, where his children attend, and the College of William & Mary, and is the President of the Board of the Rock Creek Velo cycling team.
Tom has been an expert resource for many business and trade publications, including the Washington Post, New York Times, Washington Business Journal, and Commercial Property News.
Tom is a graduate of the College of William and Mary and received a Master of Business Administration from the University of Virginia.
