Tim has been with Savills Studley in Philadelphia since 1988. He has a high level of expertise in Center City Philadelphia and the surrounding suburban areas, including Southern New Jersey. Tim's resume includes over 600 leases. Tim has represented Black & Veatch (www.bv.com) for over 20 years, negotiating over 140 leases in 41 cities throughout America. Tim and his team represented B & V in acquiring the company's headquarters, a four year project resulting in a 600,000 square foot transaction involving the largest office building in the state of Kansas. This purchase earned the firm a "Capstone Award" from the Kansas City Business Journal as the "Transaction of the Year for 2009." Tim's expertise includes representing corporations with multiple locations and representing law firms. Tim has represented more than 35 law firms in Philadelphia, and has worked with more than 12 firms on multiple occasions. Tim has considerable experience structuring flexible, cost-effective transactions for tenants. He has negotiated complex transactions including building sales, restructured leases and lease renewals, subleases, state and municipal government incentives and relocations of commercial office and industrial users. Tim has worked with clients from a broad range of industries and has developed an acute ability to quickly understand local sub-markets and has developed national contacts. Tim is a member of Savills Studley's National Account team, servicing the needs of corporate clients with challenging portfolios.
Tim is regarded as an expert in his field and has published articles in Commercial Real Estate Investor, Real Estate Forum, REJI-Tri-State, Commercial Realty Review, and the Philadelphia Business Journal. He has taught courses in commercial real estate at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and at Temple University.
Tim received a Bachelor of Science in economics from Ohio Wesleyan University and has completed post-graduate work in real estate at Temple University and the Commercial Institute for Real Estate Investment.
