Professional Expertise

As an executive vice president in Savills Studley’s Raleigh office, Tucker focuses on serving the real estate needs of corporate, industrial and retail tenants nationwide. Since beginning his career in commercial real estate, he has executed more than 4 million square feet of transactions on behalf of commercial tenants within the state of North Carolina. His specialties include lease negotiation, asset purchase / dispositions and sale-leasebacks of company-owned properties.

Throughout his career, Tucker has used his comprehensive grasp of the local and regional markets to assist a wide variety of clients, including Flextronics, T-Mobile, IntraHealth, FHI 360, Teledyne Scientific, North Carolina Farm Bureau, AIG, Allen Tate, Northwood Ravin, The Catholic Church, State Farm Mutual Insurance, Deutsche Bank, Interact, The Nature Conservancy, and True World Foods.

Prior to joining the firm, Tucker was an associate vice president of the Corporate Services Division at Tri Properties, Inc., a boutique commercial real estate firm located in Durham, NC.

Activities & Achievements

Tucker has received several awards for his outstanding career achievements, including the Triangle Business Journal Business Leader “Mover and Shaker” award in 2007 and 2008 and the Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors “Rising Star” award in 2006.  He has also a multi-year and current member of the TCAR Million Dollar Office Leasing Club and Million Dollar Sales Club.

Tucker is a member of the Area Office Broker’s Association (TRAOBA) and Triangle Commercial Association of Realtors (TCAR).  He is actively pursuing his Certified Commercial Investment Manager (CCIM) designation.

Education

Tucker is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Communication.  He was the Captain of the UNC Varsity swim team, nine-time ACC Champion and a four-time, Division One All American Athlete.
