Professional Expertise

Tyler joined Savills Studley’s Washington, DC office in 2008. He focuses on managing the real estate needs of corporations, law firms, financial institutions and technology companies throughout the Washington metropolitan region.

As a member of one of Washington’s most prolific real estate teams, Tyler has been an integral part of some of the firm’s most complex assignments including recent expansions/relocations for clients such as Kirkland & Ellis, The Associated Press, and Baker & McKenzie. His specialties include financial planning, modeling and analysis and representing commercial tenants with the acquisition, leasing and disposition of commercial property. To date, Tyler has transacted more than half a million square feet (approximately $225 million) representing DC area tenants with the acquisition, leasing and disposition of space, including several projects for the United States Postal Service.

Prior to joining Savills Studley, Tyler was a financial analyst for The Merion Group LLC, where he specialized in cash flow analysis within the multi-family division. He also spent time working for Comstock Homebuilding Companies where he performed financial analysis for residential and commercial projects throughout the DC region.

Activities & Achievements

In 2011, Bisnow on Business named Tyler one of the top 35 rising stars under the age of 35 in the Washington, DC commercial real estate industry.


Tyler received his Bachelor of Business Administration from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia where he majored in Finance and minored in Spanish. He also attended classes at The University of Salamanca in Salamanca, Spain.
