Wendy Feldman Block is Executive Managing Director in Savills Northern Virginia office, where she is focused on providing real estate services to tenants in the region and across the country. Her experience spans industry sectors, including law firms, nonprofits, associations, and corporations. Active in the industry with Savills since 1987, Wendy provides her clients with creative thought leadership and leverages her market intelligence and comprehensive real estate knowledge to structures transactions that best suit each client’s unique business objectives. She offers a broad range of services to support the space acquisition process -- including initial needs assessment and due diligence, market investigation and option analysis, as well as final site selection and the identification of the ideal transaction structure. A skilled negotiator, she has a successful track-record of structuring favorable leases and build-to-suit transactions, as well as effective space disposition strategies.

Wendy was an early adopter and champion of prioritizing sustainability and wellness in commercial real estate and completed the first project in the world to achieve Platinum WELL and LEED certifications. She is sought after for her comprehensive understanding of wellness designations and the role they can play in her clients’ talent retention and recruitment. In addition, Wendy serves on Savills Management Board Brokerage Committee, a reflection of her long tenure, exceptional client service and consistent top performance.


Awards, Achievements and Activities

Wendy is active in numerous professional and service organizations. A graduate of Leadership Washington, she has been an active volunteer in the community taking leadership roles on the boards of many organizations -- including The Washington DC Chapter of Commercia Real Estate Women, (CREW), Bell Multi-Cultural High School, and Jubilee Support Alliance. She served as the president of the board of directors for IONA Senior Services and was the chair of membership for Tikkun Olam Women’s Foundation, which funds social change to benefit women and girls.

At present, Wendy serves on the Board of Advisors for IONA, is Co-Chair of the Business Advisory Council for the Round House Theatre, is a member of the Executive Leadership Council for the March of Dimes Heroines and has served on the Leadership Committee for Higher Achievement’s Going Places event for the past five years.

Wendy is the honored recipient of numerous industry and community awards. Recent recognition includes receiving Washington DC Commercial Real Estate Brokerage Association’s Brendan McCarthy Memorial Award, Women to Watch for Jewish Women International, Bisnow Power Series Women of Influence in Commercial Real Estate Award, and the Commercial Real Estate Women Lifetime Impact Award for Washington, DC. She was also selected as a March of Dimes Heroine in real estate for her commitment to community service.
