Professional Expertise

Since joining the firm in 1987, Bill has completed commercial real estate projects totaling in excess of 30 million square feet. As an executive vice president and branch manager of the Suburban Washington office, he brings more than 38 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, representing clients throughout the DC metropolitan region and nationwide. Bill's background in architecture, development and project financing for tax exempt and taxable developments has led to his success advising public and private sector clients on over 20 build-to-suits to date.

Bill is a founding member of Savills Studley's Education Practice Group. He manages a practice group of 10 professionals out of the Washington, DC office along with representatives in each of Savills Studley's offices nationally.


Activities & Achievements

Bill is currently on the board of Building Hope a Charter School development 501(c)3. Some of Bill's most notable transactions include the planning and development of George Mason University's faculty, staff and graduate student housing development on its main campus in Fairfax, VA; planning and development of Sallie Mae's 250,000-square-foot headquarters in Reston, VA; George Washington University's 325,000-square-foot business school headquarters, residential and parking facility; the development of a 600-acre, 3 million-square-foot campus for California State University in Camarillo, CA and a 250,000-square-foot build-to-suit headquarters for SPX Corporation in Charlotte, NC.


Bill holds a Bachelor of Arts in fine arts and architecture from Miami University in Ohio.
