California-based Server Farm Realty, Inc. has just bought the Oak Brook Technology Center from an undisclosed seller. The sale was brokered by Transwestern’s Chicago office. The 194,178-square-foot, two-building office complex is located at 800 and 810 Jorie Blvd. in suburban Oak Brook, and was purchased for $16,250,000. The property was 66% leased at the time of sale.
Oak Brook has “all the attractions of being in the suburbs in terms of cost,” according to Robert Sevim, the executive managing director of Studley's Chicago office. “You're not far from Chicago, you're not far from the airports,” he added, and a highly-educated workforce is just at hand.
