Studley, an international commercial tenant advisory firm, is pleased to announce that John B. Bertram has joined the firm’s West Los Angeles office as an executive managing director. Previously, he was with Coldwell Banker Commercial WESTMAC.
Bertram has 30 years of commercial real estate experience, with expertise in office leasing, building and site acquisitions, dispositions, and investment sales. Over this time, he has been one of Los Angeles’ top commercial real estate producers, having executed transactions totaling more than 4 million square feet.
Recent representative clients include Ares Management, Trust Company of the West, Crescent Capital, Moelis & Co, S. Mark Taper Foundation and 72andSunny.
One of his most notable transactions included the site selection and relocation of Investors Business Daily to a 300,000-square-foot office/industrial complex in Marina Del Reyl, Calif.

John co-founded WESTMAC Commercial Brokerage Company in 1988. The firm became Coldwell Banker Commercial WESTMAC in 2003.
He is a member of the Los Angeles Commercial Real Estate Association and the Los Angeles Board of Realtors and is a board member of Santa Monica Baykeepers.
Bertram graduated from the University of California, Berkeley, with a B.S. in accounting, finance and real estate.
