Savills Studley has appointed commercial real estate industry veteran Michael White as Senior Managing Director of its Phoenix office as part of an aggressive recruiting effort designed to continue the growth and expansion of the firm’s services in the region.
“Michael has an outstanding mind for complex real estate deals, and a commanding knowledge of the Phoenix market,” said Tiffany Winne, Senior Vice President and Branch Manager of Savills Studley’s Phoenix office, which opened in March and is located at Anchor Centre East. “We are pleased to welcome Michael to our rapidly expanding office.”
In his new role, White focuses on providing a full suite of tenant representation services on a regional, national and international level, coupling his expertise with the firm’s expansive global platform and reputation for tenacious client advocacy.
“The Phoenix market has been hungry for a tenant-focused platform and Savills Studley’s solid reputation and proven track record is filling this need,” said White. “I look forward to contributing to the growth of the Phoenix office and the firm’s overall success.”
White has negotiated and completed 27 million square feet of commercial lease transactions and build-to-suits with a total aggregate value exceeding $2.1 billion, honing his skills to strategically and analytically manage successful real estate solutions for top tier organizations around the world on projects such as such as headquarters assignments, regional operation centers and office leases.
Prior to joining Savills Studley, White served as Senior Director for Cushman & Wakefield, Senior Vice President for Grubb & Ellis | BRE Commercial, LLC, Senior Managing Director for Insignia/ESG and Senior Director for Koll Management Services, Inc. He has received several accolades from national publications Site Selection Magazine, Business Facilities Magazine, Commercial Property Executive and was recently recognized for the Industrial Brokerage Sale of the Year for Arizona Commercial Real Estate Magazine’s 2014 Red Awards.
An involved member of his community, Michael is an active volunteer for Andre House and a member of the Men’s Art Council. He has spent many seasons as a coach and manager of Little League teams and former board member for Arcadia Little League. Previously, Michael served on the Board of Directors for Thomas Aquinas College.
