Wiss Janney Elstner Expands At W&H Properties' 1350 Broadway

Wiss Janney Elstner Associates, Inc. (WJE), a design firm with 19 offices across the United States, has expanded its space at W&H Properties’ 1350 Broadway, bringing its occupancy to nearly 11,000 square feet, announces Anthony E. Malkin, president of Malkin Holdings, which supervises W&H Properties. Founded in 1956 and headquartered in Northbrook, Illinois, WJE comprises architects, structural engineers, and materials scientists who specialize in the investigation, analysis, testing, and design of repairs for historic and contemporary structures.

“This transaction reflects the transformation of the Penn Plaza district into a genuine corporate office environment,” says Mr. Malkin. “W&H buildings in the area house such prestigious corporate tenants as NICE Actimize, Aetna Life Insurance, Equifax, Ipreo, Océ USA, Parkinson’s Disease Foundation, and law firm Tarter Krinsky & Drogin, along with WJE. These tenants might not have considered the area ten years ago, but now it’s a destination.
