Aegis Communications Group Inc. Signs 24,098 SF Lease Renewal at 80 Broad Street
New York, NY (June 23, 2011)
After an extensive search, international real estate services provider Studley has arranged a 24,098-square-foot lease renewal for the 10th and 11th floors at 80 Broad Street on behalf of Aegis Communications Group Inc., a leading global business process outsourcing (BPO) provider. One of the world’s largest and fastest-growing business process outsourcing firms, Aegis has been located in the building since 2004.
“We put together a comprehensive search but in the end a renewal proved to be in our client’s best interest,” said Studley Executive Managing Director Marc Shapses.
“Studley worked closely with Kent Swig’s team and together they developed innovative solutions for our operational and business requirements thus making our decision to stay at 80 Broad an easy one,” said Aegis’ VP Real Estate, Facilities & Procurement Kato Hawthorne. “We look forward to continuing our relationship and significantly expanding our downtown footprint in the coming years.”
Shapses, along with Executive Managing Director Joseph Genovesi and Corporate Managing Director Jason Schwartzenberg represented Aegis in the transaction. Swig Equities, the building’s owner, was represented by Todd Korren, executive vice president/director of leasing & operations.
