LSI, Advantest bring HQs to N. San Jose

The city of San Jose is gaining 1,250 new workers and taking 336,000 square feet of commercial space off the market.

LSI Corp. and Advantest America Inc. have each decided to consolidate and relocate their headquarters from other parts of the Valley to North San Jose.

The moves are a coup for the city, which has been on a mission to fill 9 million square feet of vacant office/research and development space. It is also further evidence that the demand for large blocks of space continues and that companies are moving further south to meet their space needs. ...
