PLG Renews Full-Building Lease, Takes Another to Expand LA Operations
Los Angeles, CA (December 17, 2012)
Port Logistics Group recently renewed and expanded its Los Angeles County operations for a total of 700,000 square feet of warehouse and distribution facilities.
The company signed a five-year renewal for approximately 350,000 square feet at 18175 E. Rowland Street in City of Industry, CA. In addition, the logistics firm leased a neighboring 350,000-square-foot building at 18215 E. Rowland.
Studley's Jeff Cannon, corporate managing director in the Orange County office, and John Simons, corporate managing director in the Houston office, led the lease negotiations on behalf of Port Logistics Group. Studley’s Industrial Services Group is the national real estate services provider for the firm.
According to Cannon, the expansion lease helped the firm avoid a relocation saved millions of dollars in occupancy costs.
Port Logistics Group will move into the second building in April of 2013. The firm currently occupies approximately 2.2 million square feet in Southern California.
