New York, NY (August 19, 2010)
Ian Zilla (34), Studley’s 2008 “Rookie of the Year” and a member of the firm’s national Corporate Services Group (CSG), was promoted from managing director to corporate managing director, per an announcement made at the closing meeting at Studley’s annual summer outing, held this past July in San Francisco.
In 2006, Mr. Zilla joined Studley’s CSG—a consultancy practice within Studley that bridges the worlds of commercial real estate, corporate finance and management consulting, providing strategic planning and financial consulting services.
Mr Zilla’s expertise with occupancy scenario modeling and financial analysis has placed him in an integral role within CSG, working on some of Studley’s largest and most complex transactions to date and creating optimal financial structures and solutions for users of commercial office space. He has gained national experience from his work on headquarters transactions for Brocade Communications, SunGard Availability Services, E! Entertainment Television, Fox Interactive Media, Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, San Diego Gas and Electric, Polycom, and Amgen.
Mr. Zilla volunteers with New York Cares, and has also volunteered with the TEAK Fellowship, teaching chess to New York City grammar school students. He graduated from Columbia University with a Bachelor of Science in computer science.
