BuckleySandler LLP, a financial services and criminal and civil enforcement defense law firm based in Washington, D.C., is moving its New York office to The Durst Organization's 1133 Avenue of the Americas. ...

... BuckleySandler has signed a 17,372 s/f, long-term lease on the 31st floor of the nearly one million-square-foot office tower on Sixth Avenue between West 43rd and 44th Streets. "There were several factors that closed this deal," said Greg Taubin of international commercial real estate services firm Studley, which represented the law firm in the transaction. "The building's location, the efficient floorplates, the overall economics, the ownership and the lease flexibility (Buckley Sandler has an option to the balance of the floor, approximately 5,000 s/f)."

In addition to Tanbin, Studley's Ryan McKinney represented BuckleySandler in the transaction. The Durst Organization was represented in-house by Eric Engelhardt. Linda Herman of Bryan Cave represented the law firm and Lawrence Lenzner of Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP represented Durst.
